About This Artwork
An installation of 5,280 reflective stainless steel propellers spanning the mile-long train tunnel at Denver International Airport. The propellers change configurations as trains pass, activated by light and wind.

About the Artist
Toni Rosato & William Maxwell
Antonette 'Toni' Rosato was an associate professor of sculpture at CU-Boulder. She and her husband William Jackson Maxwell (1947-2000) collaborated on large-scale kinetic and conceptual installations, of which the 5,280-propeller Kinetic Light Air Curtain at DIA is the best known.
