Tennyson Street Platted
Tennyson Street was laid out in the 1880s as the commercial spine of northwest Denver's Berkeley neighborhood, named after poet Alfred Lord Tennyson. The street was designed to serve the craftsman bungalow blocks spreading out on both sides.
