We booked a stay-cation here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and overall we had a great experience. In particular, the customer service was a standout. When we first checked in, we noticed that the lobby and much of the hotel had a strong wood-smoke smell, including in our room (apparently it has to do with the restaurant on the top floor). I am pretty sensitive to smells, so we spoke to the team at the front desk, and they went above and beyond to resolve it. We were offered a new room, and they ran a strong air filter in the new room before we moved our belongings. The new room had no smell at all, and was lovely. We really enjoyed the rooftop bar (beautiful views) and coffee from Little Owl in the morning. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the hotel was very quiet. The architecture is super cool, and the hotel is carbon-neutral. Overall we enjoyed our experience, and we appreciate the team who went above and beyond to improve our stay.
I think it was such a wonderful experience! The rooms were all very clean and comfortable. The overall luxury it exudes from the very beginning of looking at it intrigues you. It intrigued me so much I had to make sure I booked at least one night before leaving with my husband. It was a wonderful stay the bar in the rooftop amazing! Our bartender was Addie I forgot his last name but he is a very charismatic individual. I was on the 10th floor and it was great! Knowing a tree is planted for the amounts of nights you stay is also so nice to know. Their rooms keys very fascinating! Iβve never seen a key like it and I wish I couldβve kept it. But honestly itβs worth a stay even for a night. Both me and my husband wish we couldβve stayed one more night but the one night was beautiful!
This was our first stay at Populus and we enjoyed every minute! Breakfast was so memorable. Katelyn has a welcoming smile, recognizing us from the day before and treating us like regular hotel guests who were taken to their favorite booth. Gage created a relaxed feeling as he oversaw every detail of breakfast when not seated with Katelyn. The consistency of professionalism and service they provided let us know that excellence is still practiced. We definitely will return on future trips to Denver.
Populus Denver provided an exceptional luxury hotel experience with stunning modern design, outstanding hospitality, and a unique atmosphere that immediately stood out from other downtown hotels. The architecture and interior design throughout the property were absolutely beautiful, creating a stylish yet comfortable environment from the moment we arrived. The room was spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed with high-end furnishings, comfortable bedding, and large windows that added to the relaxing atmosphere. I especially appreciated the eco-conscious design elements and the peaceful ambiance throughout the hotel. The staff members were friendly, professional, and attentive during every interaction, making the stay feel welcoming and personalized. The rooftop restaurant and lounge areas added even more charm with incredible city views and a relaxing social atmosphere. Everything throughout the property appeared polished, organized, and professionally maintained. This is definitely one of the most unique and memorable hotel experiences in Denver.
I was absolutely thrilled with my stay at Populus! The hotel is an all-around amazing vibe. From the ease of check-in to detailed touches like the water refill station on every floor, the lovely bathroom soaps, the comfortable bed, the room view....everything was perfect! Our room was very spacious and felt luxurious. We ate at the restaurant Pasque - definitely add to the list! They have a happy hour menu as well. In the mornings, we'd get coffees in the lobby and then enjoy on the rooftop, which is only open to hotel guests in the morning. Nice little touch. All staff members were so helpful and kind. Would 10/10 recommend for when you're in town in Denver.
