Before the escalation of the coronavirus pandemic in March of 2020, the Bank of Colorado Arena hosted all of the University of Northern Colorado's graduation ceremonies for scholars graduating with the necessary Grade Point Average at this four-year institution. The university, since 2020, has gone back to using the arena for graduation ceremonies. This arena is also home to the University of Northern Colorado Volleyball and Basketball Teams for Men's and Women's in Varsity Sports, and also acts as a prominent social hub for those at UNC. I, personally, had the opportunity of coming to this specific arena for the first time in the wake of my older sister's Commencement ceremony. The graduation was structured in a similar way to that of other ceremonies at four-year institutions, with the playing of Sir Edward Elgar's 1901 work, 'Pomp and Circumstance' greeting the graduates as they entered and the graduates being praised by keynote speakers for their hard efforts, while being bestowed with their degrees, specifically in Education and the Performing Arts for this ceremony. The overall quality of this arena, constructed in 1974 also had much to be desired, while the arena's entrance looked contemporary, I soon realized just how peculiar the arena is, while the seating and video boards appeared normal, the one part that was overall vague was that the restrooms and concession stands were on the court, while there was no need for concessions this event, the shear fact of getting food on the court screams dated for the institution. If I had to end this review by stating anything, the arena is a great arena overall that holds the charm of a four-year university, but the arena is dated and needs a concourse to separate the restrooms and concession stands from the court.

It was amazing getting to see Bernie & AOC! It filled up before i could get in but they had tons of space on the grass with a big screen to watch it. They had great security too.

Attended the Colorado State girls 1A basketball tournament here. Really nice arena! The parking lot was pretty packed so that was an adventure finding a place to park. The concession line at the halftime was pretty slow but overall it was a good time.

My graduation with UNC was here. It was really nice. My family said the guest seating was very comfortable as well!
